Stepping stone, “a stone in a riverbed, a support along the way”.
From a Christian and holistic perspective on humanity and society, Stapsteen aims to help build a relational society; to contribute to solidarity between generations and families, and to invest in relationships with neighbors, the local economy, and other organizations.

Increasing the resilience, carrying capacity and parenting skills of parents.
Restoring and expanding the social network of families.
Increasing resilience and strengthening social cohesion in cities and communities by connecting citizens and families who would otherwise not meet.
Our logo
The logo brings together the core of Stapsteen:
The focus is on families (1), in many forms, the family members each with their own color (2), unique and connected, a family (3).
And we extend that connection of 3 to a network with the family:
